I would always recommend upgrading to the latest STABLE version. Make your decision to upgrade, or not, based on your own research and not something you "heard".

Yes, I fully support what g'marc says: use the latest stable version.

For the time being, until the dust has settled following the recently announced Kunena 1.0.9, I would recommend that you instal Kunena 1.0.8 because that version has been stable for over two months.

wow that post seems complex. s will it retain everything from the community builder intergration with the forums to all my settings and users being synced with CB and Kunena? (yes i asked this but wasnt clearly stated) and upgrading from 1.0.3 FB to 1.0.4 then i ahve to use a converter i cant fine plus upgrade after to 1.0.5 FB and then finally uninstall FB and the converter and install Kunena? wow...

ok so our forums are brand new would it just be easier to delete and uninstall all of FB and just do a fresh install of 1.0.8 kunena? and will it still allow intergrating between syncing etc... and users etc... of Community builder? thanks I know im repeating but im not clearly understanding sorry..
will I need to get a new plugin for CB to work with kunena? is one availible? i dont mind instlling fresh but i would need to remove moduels etc...

fyi our joomla is version 1.5 legacy if you needed to know.
