Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

I deleted the socials column. Then re ran the Tools / Setup socials. It added back the socials column.

oops, i had made a mistake, it has deleted the column userid in same time that unused socials column, so you can delete the table #__kunena_users and import them from a backup with the one which contains the olds socials columns : google, microsoft... I will add a fix and generate a new nightly build later today

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

I have just generated a new nightly build if can please to try : update.kunena.org/nightlybuilds/pkg_kune...2-DEV_2026-02-25.zip use now K7.0.2

I dropped the users table (again), added it back from the db backup, upgraded to the new nightly Kunena build, ran the Fix Socials link in Tools and the forum is now back up and running with no apparent issues. I'll let you know if something else comes up. thank you for your follow up!
