okay but have you also tried what I showed earlier in topic #2 with all those pictures to apply here so that the error message or possibly remains away?

Yes, I set NULL as default to the field status_text. See screenshot. The error message «Cannot save message: Invalid email address!» persists. What about «Kollation». Sometimes we have «utf8_general_ci» and for some fields the «Kollation» is empty.

This is exactly one of my issues.
Neither of the proposed solutions resolve it:
a) Kunena -> Tools > Let recount the statistics
b) Kunena -> Tools > Synchronize users
But this issue is less important, because only message before the Update to Joomla 4 are affected, newer messages are ok.

Go again to the database -> #__kunena_users -> structure -> status_text and try the option "As defined" at Default instead of NULL
Also compare the other values.

OMG this was successful :-) The error message has gone. I
  • reduced the field length from 255 to 191
  • set Standard = «Wie definiert»
  • set the Kollation to utf8mb4_unicode_ci
I am a little less desperate, but there are still some remaining issues in separate threads. I do hope you will be able to help resolving these issues too.

Thank you very much and kind regards
Chris
