A relative link without bbcode won't translate to a clickable link.rich wrote:
1. What happens, if you use the link without bbcode or if you click on a message number? Is the link in principle wrong? We are using the URL BB Code for this.
Clicking on a message number works.
No, there is only one unpublished item. It is the default help entry of the kunena menu. Nothing has been edited.rich wrote: 2. Have you menu items in the trash? This can also cause errors.
Well, i can give you the URL so you could register as a guest if that helps. I'd prefer sending those details privately if possible.rich wrote: 3. A problem is for me, because I can't see your page.

rich wrote: I'm not sure but I think I found the issue. Is your Joomla installation on the main server page or installed in a extra folder? If you have the installation in a extra folder, you must enter for a relative link the folder name first. Otherwise the relative link does not work.

The installation is in the vhosts root directory and not in a folder.
So essentially it is like here.
So the following link _test_link_ is correct here (/forum/k5-1-support/154446-link-issue) whereas on my site it would be /forum/k5-1-support/154446-link-issue/kunena respectively /forum/k5-1-support/154446-link-issue/forum

Please disable for a test in the Joomla configuration Search Engine Friendly URLs, then test it with these relative url such as
index.php?option=com_kunena&view=topic&catid=5&id=11&Itemid=8940&limitstart=24#259
Can you confirm this, whether it works with this urls?

Hey rich,
Thanks for looking at this.
I can confirm that this issue only appears when Search Engine Friendly URLs are enabled.
Furthermore, it seems like one of the previous Kunena or Joomla updates (a month ago or longer) is responsible as this previously worked fine. It might have been broken longer, but i simply might not have noticed it earlier.
