Hi,

I've noticed that when an attachment has UTF8 characters, the link is not shown in the post.

I've checked that the file was really uploaded and I saw it did.

Here is an example of a missing attachment:

kitchen-guide.co.il/forum/פורום-שאלות-ות...בחים/6629-תכנון-מטבח

and the file does exist on the server:

www.kitchen-guide.co.il/media/kunena/att.../1552/תכנוןמטבח.docx

I would really appreciate any help with this issue.

Thanks,
Omri

Thank you.

I tried the fix you suggested but it didn't work.

I get n warning and an error after applying the fix:

JFile: :copy: Cannot find or read file: $tmpphpX7SQDe
COM_KUNENA_UPLOAD_ERROR_FILE_RIGHT_MEDIA_DIR

I don't think the problem is with the upload as the file is on the server with the utf8 characters.

The file name is just not displayed.

I would appreciate if you can look forward into that.

Thanks!
Omri

I started to think the problem might be in the part that "shrinks" the file name when presented on the post.

Where can I find the function that handles this shrink and adds "..." to the links?

Thanks,
Omri

I wonder if this is similar to another issue reported when a change was made before K 4.0.3, perhaps? As far as I know, this other issue has not been addressed .
