Question search not showing category name, subject and link to the actual post

I think we've had a similar issue before? You still have the same problem ( see here ).

Oooh good find! I have changed that setting now. There was no real reason why this was set up this way. Think last time someone checked it out was before 2011.

The duplicate items were trashed, I've deleted them for sanities sake

The settings and Kunena menus are now correct. Are you still unable to find the topics?

Still unable to produce it. Not getting any value from the PHP code that is calling it out. Only thing left maybe is to go back to Joomla default template and identify whether it is a template issue.

Not getting any error makes it very confusing to be honest. Aren't there better ways to debug through using custom code to call out what values are being generated at all?

You can try with Cassiopeia, but I don't think it's a template issue. Gantry framework is used a lot and then there should be more users with this problem.
Furthermore this site uses g5_helium with gantry 5.

What are you seeing when using Kunena search? Can you post a screenshot?
