Kunena 6.3.5 released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.5 [K 6.3.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3
Note: Please go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated.
Question Email Notifications for my posts
I keep on receiving email notifications also for the posts I write in my website forum, in new thread or also replying to other people's threads.
I tried every possible settings, but I can't solve the issue.
I had opened another similar thread here, in this forum, but I don't find it anymore.
At the moment, I have two accounts on my website related to myself.
I use one for frontend (forum), and the other for managing backend as a Super user (two different emails related to those accounts - for super user the same which is Joomla and Forum default one).
I have erased every category and posts subscription for the frontend account, and I am not either global moderator, or specific category moderator. The same goes for the Super user account (no subscription or moderation), which, of course, is Forum administrator.
The only thing left to think as possible cause of the issue is that something went wrong during upgrade from Kunena 5 to Kunena 6.
How is it possible to understand if there is something wrong, from this point of view, in Kunena DB tables?
Thanks for help.

but you can also take a look at Administrator > Kunena Forum: Users
whether you can unsubscribe from the categories and/or topics?
by checking your account and first checking where you are subscribed

I found your old topic but I don't know if this is the same problem

Thanks for your kind reply.
Yes, it's the same issue as that one reported in that topic.
I know the settings you suggested in Kunena forum Users administrator. As I wrote, I unsuscribed from all topics and posts, for all accounts that I have on my site. And no of the two accounts is set as global moderator.
I also tried to erase subscription directly in Kunena db table, where subscriptions are stored, but it didn't worked.
So, I do not know what to do.

Kunena Forum: Configuration > security tab
Email Moderators = No and Email Administrators = No
or can it be in Joomla itself with your user settings?
Receive System Emails yes or no

Hi, thanks for reply, but I had already thought to check those settings.I don't know if that can help anything but if you test with
Kunena Forum: Configuration > security tab
Email Moderators = No and Email Administrators = No
or can it be in Joomla itself with your user settings?
Receive System Emails yes or no
In configuration settings, Email Moderators and Email Administrators were, and still are, set to No.
Only the Super User account has the field Receive System emails, set to Yes, and it must be like that, I guess.
So, the issue is still there....

If I remember correctly, there was once a similar bug when a user had the same email address as the sending address entered in Joomla or in Kunena for Visible E-mail Recipient. Test it with a different address for this user.I use one for frontend (forum), and the other for managing backend as a Super user (two different emails related to those accounts - for super user the same which is Joomla and Forum default one).
Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!

I will try to set Super user account so that it doesn't receive System Emails, and see what happens.
If I set Kunena forum email address to one different from Joomla default, no user gets notification anymore....
Quite sick of this issue that I didn't have with Kunena 5

Leave Forum E-mail Address blank
then it would work via joomla site email address.
and under the Subscriptions tab
what does it say under E-mail to Multiple Recipients?
on the forum that I co-manage it says this as in the images
and works just fine
