You don't use Cassiopeia "as is". You use that as the foundation of a template and make it look like whatever you want.
You don't need any software. Just create an additional CSS file and add your own CSS to style anything you want.

Helix is not yet updated to work well with Kunena. I've already tried.

Plus, using Cassiopeia I have a 99% "mobile" page speed on the 2 areas of my site that "should" be slow due to background images, and Kunena pages are also at 99%. The only reason I get 99 instead of 100 is because I have 1, 50x50px webp logo image. I have no other software installed other than JCE. It's all in what you know.

Yes, I confirm the wrong links to the registration form and add this problem to our bug list.

Perfect! I'm sure the update will appear in time for me to open the site up for visitors. But I have work-arounds just in case.
Thank you for confirming the links are bugs.

Rich - I was wrong about the menu.
The "initial" links when you arrive at the main forum work and do not have the "?itemid=101".
However, once you go to a category, any of the posts or attempting to return to the main home forum page "includes" the ?itemid=101 at the end of the URL, so it won't resolve properly. Kunena uses the Joomla menu id of the site index.php in the URL and the page doesn't display properly.
The ?itemid=101 appears at the end of every menu item except "Forum" (home link) in the Kunena menu and "Index". Those 2 links maintain the SEO Friendly URL.
When you return to the main forum page, all links are correct and no id is added.

We know that, and I think I've already told you in your own topic. This is the main problem. One of our developers proposed a solution at Joomla some time ago. The request is still open.
github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/35634
But that has nothing to do with the question of the topic author. By his own admission he is not experienced, we should not confuse him with an additional discussion.

Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!

rich you can delete this topic if you want. I find another (stupidproof) solution for my "problem" site.
