Hi, first post on here so I hope I'm posting in the right spot. I just recently upgraded to kunena version 4.0.5 and installed and working fine, the only problem I am having is that all of my user's are set administrators by default. I have been trying to figure out how to fix this but no luck. How to I change user's from administrators? Thanks in advance

First of all, welcome. :)

There are several possible ways that this can occur. Although it is a good idea to include your configuration report when you ask for help on this forum, in this case it probably will not help.

The possible ways that users can (by default) become administrators of a Kunena forum are discussed in the topic All users have Administrator privileges . The issues are discussed in other places on this forum, too.

In general terms, the issues here are Joomla ones. Quite often these kinds of problems occur when people have migrated from an old J! 1.5 website.

Although it might be worthwhile knowing what version of Kunena you upgraded from, it would only confirm in my mind if an older version of Joomla was involved in this case.

Yes, it's possible that the Joomla ACLs were somehow changed (as shown in the video posted in the message from 810) but I've never seen it happen as part of a normal upgrade from one version of Kunena to another. People should be extremely careful when fiddling with Joomla ACL component settings.

I hope some of this helps.
