But if I go to the Plugin Manager page and search for Kuneau I get this

Was I supposed to install plugins at the same time as I installed com_kunena_v3.0.7.zip ?

go to system - system information and check if all dir are writable, I think the plugins dir isn't writable, so the plugins aren't installed.

I did that and found that configuration.php was not writable.
I logged on via ftp and changed the file to 755
I tried to uninstall Kunena and reinstall it.
Same result, Blank page for dashboard and any other Kunena links

There must be something simple I'm missing on the installation process

For my install I go to Extensions > Extension Manager > Upload Package File
Then I browse to find com_kunena_v3.0.7.zip
I press Uplaod &Install and I get to a page that says

Message
Installing component was successful.

Then I just get blank pages for Kunena pages

Am I missing a step?

This file should be not writable. You should undo it.
