Solved Upgrading from 2.0.4 with automatic updates

Hi,
I was trying to upgrade through automatic updates on my Kunena site from 2.0.4 to 3.0.0 and I'm getting the following error on clicking update:
Code:
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file Update path does not exist Error updating COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_.

I suspect this is some kind of ARS issue - because I've never had a problem updating through the automatic updates before - but I can include my server config details if that helps!

Cheers,
George

G'day, cork and jczanoni, and welcome to Kunena

There is a really simple solution that takes less than 2 minutes. If the automatic update s not working then update Kunena the "old fashioned" way. Read about how to do it in the Wiki: K 3.0 Upgrade Guide .

Just fyi got the same issue just now going from 3.0.1 to 3.0.2 :) Of course doing it the 'old fashioned way' fixed it.
