Solved CSS/JS compression - on=no editor/good layout, off=editor/broken layout

Hi,

I am using the latest version of Kunena with the raw Helix 3 template (JoomShaper).

If we enable JS and CSS compression, the post editor is empty, no buttons (screenshots attached).

If we disable JS and CSS compression, the editor buttons/toolbar is all there but the top Kunena navigation menu layout is broken.

The config report is below - can anyone possibly advise on a way to have our editor toolbar showing, but also to have the correct Kunena navigation menu layout?

Thanks for any help,

Chris

Ok, there is still an issue with using JS and CSS compression within the Joomla template, however this thread resolved it (leaving all compression off which is a pain for site load speed...):

Yes, it's a known issue, if you use the compression with this Joomla template. It will created wrong links to the editor symbols.

Ahh thanks for the reply - with it 'working', if anyone clicks the emoticon or link editor buttons, it just greys out the whole screen with nothing to do but refresh the page...is that a known issue too?

That's an issue when the modal background the functions overlaid. It is rare error, but with some Joomla templates it can happen.
