Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Question Is there a way to change the submitter of a post?

For example, a user may be able to send a post via email but not have access to a browser. So I'd like to enter the post (I'm a moderator) and then change the submitter to that user.

Thanks for the reference.

It's a little more complicated than indicated in the reference, possibly because Kunena has changed since the reference was written.

You have to modify #_kunena_messages, #_kunena_topics, and #_kunena_user_topics. Modifying #_kunena_messages is not enough.

You only need to modify the appropriate row in the table _kunena_messages. If you perform a "recount statistics" then the other information is automatically updated.
