Question Moderator functions

Ok how about this angle?

Can a moderator setup to mod say a few categories ban users? A global mod can.

Therefore, how do I setup a global moderator (I know how) to not show my private category? I have set to global and us ticked the category, but it still shows although she cannot do a new post but can read stuff?

Since the time that K 3.0.1 was released, there have been three maintenance versions released that correct over 200 problems and, it's quite possible, that things that don't work in K 3.0.1 have been fixed. I think it's worth the effort and the few minutes of time it takes to read K 3.0 Upgrade Guide (together with the release notes for K 3.0.2, K 3.0.3 and K 3.0.4) to eliminate the version of Kunena you are using as a possible cause of your problems.

You may be entirely right. The JSN Mico template may not have any bearing on your issues but, I think it's worth a few moments of your time, to eliminate this as a potential cause of the problems by testing K 3.0.4 with the Blue Eagle template.

(c) note the differences between global moderators, category moderators and their banning rights by reviewing the topic Is it possible for a moderator to banish a member (in front) .

It would be good to know if you have resolved this matter. FYI, since you created this topic K 3.0.5 has been released. It might be a good idea to upgrade to that version.
