Kunena 7.0.2 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.2 [K 7.0.2] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.3.x/5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

*** Topics merged ***

I hope the information earlier in this topic helps.

There is also an undocumented feature of Kunena that allows you to increase the level of "importance" or "stickiness" for certain topics. If you look at the table xxx_kunena_topics in the database, you will see that there is a column called ordering. This normally has the value of 0 for unstickied topics and 1 for stickied topics.

You can modify this value to give a different level of "stickiness" (using a number from 1 to 255) thereby making some sticky topics "more sticky" than others. In this way you could, for example, move topics higher up the chain. It's a little clumsy, perhaps, but it's one possible solution.

You can also use negative values for an interesting effect to move topics down the chain but you will also find that these topics appear stickied after all normal (unstickied) topics.
