After the update from 3.03 to 3.04 I experience a malfunction in the RSS feeds.
In the 3.03 version we have altered the code in the file vieuw.html.php with the recommendation.

Now in the 3.04 I have refreshed the RSSfeed and see that I'm getting messages however not the messages of the most recent days and updates do not come in at all.

Has anyone have the same experience?

I'm sorry but I don't understand this. You have modified the original Kunena source code based on whose recommendation? Who recommended that you should change the Kunena software? Where did you read this?

If you have changed something in your own special, unique way, how can anyone else "experience" the same problem?

Pls don't make a fuzz about this. The 3.04 version now contains the code which I altered in the 3.03 version. The to be changed code was found on this very site where the problem with RSS feeds was highlighted.

So the "problem" has been fixed in K 3.0.4? Yes?

I don't really understand the question, sorry. Maybe it's not a problem with Kunena. Perhaps it's something to do with your website? Caching, maybe?

You say you receive RSS feeds but those feeds don't include topics posted in the past couple do days. This sounds very peculiar to me.

The RSS feeds as said do not come in on a regular as expected basis. It is a test-site and the other testers experience the same problem. So I try to find the reason in Kunena and provided the settingsreport.
I appreciate you are a user (mate) like I am, but I am relatively new to Kunena.

What influence could the caching have? The setting used to be 15, which I reduced to 1 in the idea that the RSS would be sent quicker.

Try disabling caching altogether. Turn off caching completely. Does this make a difference?

Do you have any other caching process running, e.g. APC?
