Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

No email notifications sent when new post created was created by sravank
Hii

I have installed joomla 3.0 with Kunena 3.0.1 .

Whenever the user created a new post no email notification is sending to users. But administrators and moderators are recieving the email notifications.

Is there any changes to be made to configuration....?

Please Help Me..! :)

Hi sravank,

Go to the your back-end and go to "Components -> Kunena Forum -> Configuration" menu. Choose the "Security" tab. Find the "E-mail Moderators" option and "E-mail Administrators" option. In two options you need choose "All New Posts". After save your config and try to post a new thread on your forum.

I am little bit confused as i already set these options. But now it is very clear and user receives an email notification whenever a reply is posted. :woohoo: :woohoo:

Hi there, I have the nearly same problem. But I did what you have postet and set the administrator and moderator notification settings to YES. Unfortunately I still dont get any notifications. Have you an idea what else I can try?

You do not receive email notification if the new messages are posted by you. You will only receive emails if the messages are posted by a user who has a different account.

I opened an new user and posted a new thread, but even then no notification came in. Is there another setup in Joomla or so? (If you register, the mail is sent to the user)
