The "other" topic is not closed. The other topic was marked "resolved" by the person who started it. In the "other" topic, Matias wrote that he was still looking at the issue.

It is unfortunate that the person who started the "other" topic did not give a step-by-step explanation that may have helped you. It is also unfortunate that you did not provide us with any information about your site, your Kunena configuration, or other details that may have assisted us trying to help.

There are many reasons why people have problems uploading images. I do not know, based on the information you have given us, which of those reasons is the cause of the problem you are having.

Thank you for posting your configuration report. It is unfortunate that your configuration report is incomplete. Based on this new information, it looks like you have a Javascript conflict issue between some other Joomla extension you have installed and with Joomla's Mootools Javascript library. Obviously I do not know your website as well as you do but it would be possible, I suppose, for someone to spend time trying to find which other extension you have loaded is causing your current problem.

When I looked at your site, the first thing I saw was the following scripting error:
Code:
JSON.parse: bad control character in string literal
which came from some FaceBook-related extension you have installed. Perhaps you should try disabling other extensions to see which one is responsible for stopping you uploading images?

See also other errors on your site:

Invalid App Id: Must be a number or numeric string representing the application id.
all.js#xfbml=1 (line 56)
FB.getLoginStatus() called before calling FB.init().
all.js#xfbml=1 (line 56)
fb:like_box failed to resize in 45s
