Solved Getting com-kunena-trash-manager in my SEF URL for the blog

This is very odd...I noticed my menu links to my three blog categories have this in the SEF url:

/com-kunena-trash-manager/blog
/com-kunena-trash-manager/theme-updates

etc....so my question is, why would this be happening and how to clear this out? I've purchased all redirects from my Joomla, there's no trashed items in the Kunena component showing empty. I even deleted my menu to create a new one and the same url is being created.

I'm on Joomla 2.5.14 using Kunena 3.0.1

Just an update... I just spent the last hour manually cleaning out my database path's for many menu items both admin side and front-end that contained the com-kunena-trash-manager in the path. Not happy at all; trying to figure out how this happened. The last thing I want is to have urls with com-kunena-trash-manager/ indexed in Google.

To be more specific about my specific problem...

I am a real noob/Admin, poking around on a Joomla+Kunena setup that someone else set up. And they are not responding to my questions. I did quite a bit of careful playing around on the forum/joomla setup today.

Here are a few of the things I did:

1. Deleted some users (spam regs)
2. Changed the Kunena default Help menu to (first) have some text in it, and then figured out how to create the text as an article and link the article to the help menu.
3. Changed the site template a couple of times--trying to get rid of the "Optimus" header on the site (from the Optimus free template) and replace it with a PNG file of our own. What I ended up with was a slightly edited version of the Optimus free template. Switching back to the original doesn't fix things. But I did changed templates 4 or 5 times. (including several times with a Beez3 template that was already installed).
4. Change the default menu on the Joomla main menu for Kunena to link to the forum Topic List rather than Recent Posts
4. Added an IP and Disabled a user via R Antispam
5. Deleted the spam post caught by R Antispam
6. Purged a deleted post using the Kunena Trash Manager (the only thing in the Trash Manager).

(Not necessarily in the exact order as listed above)

From the Joomla main menu (at csyowners.com), the Forum link now goes to

csyowners.com/index.php/com-kunena-trash-manager/forum/index

instead of

csyowners.com/index.php/forum/index

and ALL the forum menu items and all the forum categories and post links also have '/com-kunena-trash-manager' in them.

Going to any old link produces a 404 error page that says this:

You may not be able to visit this page because of:

an out-of-date bookmark/favourite
a search engine that has an out-of-date listing for this site
a mistyped address
you have no access to this page
The requested resource was not found.
An error has occurred while processing your request.

Any help or guidance you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Sherry

So, not receiving any reply to my issue (maybe I should have started a new thread...), let me ask a simpler question.

I've read the section in FAQs about "How do I restore my Kunena menu?" The solution there:

The Kunena trash-burn-build technique:
  • Trash all existing menus and menu items that relate to your Kunena forum
  • Empty the menu trash.
  • Use the Kunena Control Panel: Forum Tools » Menu Manager » Restore Kunena Menu facility.
  • Publish the menu item created for you in your top-level/main menu.
Will doing this likely solve my problem?

Any chance there is a more detailed step-by-step for this procedure (I am worried that I will make a mistake and mess things up worse). I am not stupid, just still finding my way around Joomla/Kunena without much support from my "buddies" who set this (somewhat complicated thing) up for me and then don't have the time to answer my questions.

Thanks a bunch for any help you can give.
