Hello.
Have looked through the forum, but can't find anything (besides the module) dealing with birthday issues.

I'm having an odd issue. Inputting DOB (birthdate) into the Kunena profile shows as one day prior (i.e. inputting 02/02/2013 displays in profile as 02/01/2013)

Any ideas?

It's my guess that one of two things is involved here.

(a) Your Joomla Global Configuration settings use the a different or the "wrong" timezone to the timezone that your users use ; or
(b) Your personal forum preferences use a different timezone to the setting in your Joomla Global Configuration.

sorry for the slow response.
just got back from vacation.

I've checked all of the timezone issues - they all show as Chicago (where I am).
I've made test users and input their DOBs but all are incorrect.
Any ideas?

Let's see what we can do to clean things up:

Look at your integration plugins (see below):

Kunena - AlphaUserPoints Enabled: activity=1 avatar=0 profile=0 activity_points_limit=0
Kunena - Community Builder Enabled: access=1 login=1 activity=1 avatar=1 profile=0 private=0
Kunena - Gravatar Disabled
Kunena - JomSocial Disabled
Kunena - Joomla Enabled: access=1 login=1
Kunena - Kunena Enabled: avatar=1 profile=1
Kunena - UddeIM Enabled: private=1

Change them to these values:

Kunena - AlphaUserPoints Enabled: activity=1 avatar=0 profile=0 activity_points_limit=0
Kunena - Community Builder Enabled: access=0 login=1 activity=0 avatar=1 profile=0 private=0
Kunena - Gravatar Disabled
Kunena - JomSocial Disabled
Kunena - Joomla Enabled: access=1 login=0
Kunena - Kunena Enabled: avatar=0 profile=1
Kunena - UddeIM Enabled: private=1

Next, trash and delete all your menu items that relate to Kunena and use the default Kunena menu. See Kunena Menu issues in the Wiki to find out how to do that. After that, let's see your configuration report again.

thanks for the quick response.

Couple of questions first.
1. Kunena - Kunena change was from "1" to "1". Should that have been "1"to "0"?

2. Which menus do you mean? I added some menus into the stock Kunena menu (2 admin function menus and 1 copy of a help menu). you want me to remove those? or did I misunderstand.
thanks

Make sure you backend settings match what Sozzled has posted in the second half of that message.

Kunena - AlphaUserPoints Enabled: activity=1 avatar=0 profile=0 activity_points_limit=0
Kunena - Community Builder Enabled: access=0 login=1 activity=0 avatar=1 profile=0 private=0
Kunena - Gravatar Disabled
Kunena - JomSocial Disabled
Kunena - Joomla Enabled: access=1 login=0
Kunena - Kunena Enabled: avatar=0 profile=1
Kunena - UddeIM Enabled: private=1

Next, trash and delete all your menu items that relate to Kunena and use the default Kunena menu. See Kunena Menu issues in the Wiki to find out how to do that. After that, let's see your configuration report again.
