Bug Who Is Online count erroneous

The display of "Who Is Online" the number of persons connected is erroneous.
Total on-line users: 81 Members and 19979 Guests Online.

There is a difference between Joomla and Kunena

That is a true statement. The information is erroneous. The information is obtained from Joomla.

That statement is not true; there is no difference between Joomla and Kunena. There is, however, a difference between Joomla and reality. :laugh:

We have had this discussion many times in this forum. For those people who are concerned about displaying information that appears to be "erroneous" our suggestion is to not display the information. For the rest of us who do not seem to mind that the "Who is Online" area of the forum shows the number of Joomla sessions, we suggest that you enjoy the view and relax knowing that there are thousands of something-or-others out there looking at your forum.

Kunena - The number of visitors showing under Forum Stats is consistently much too high. I wish it were true, but the number is unrealistic and doesn't agree with the back-end. Is there a reason for this or a fix that can remedy? Thanks a ton!!!

I am confused. Is the answer, just don't pay attention to it or is there a way to manage this issue? Please provide specific guidance as that answer will certainly "hit the wall" when my client hears it. Thanks.
