As mentioned in earlier posts, using the #_on.gif #_off.gif work for K3.

Changing it to use png instead of .gif involves 1 file edited, \yousite\components\com_kunena\views\category\view.html.php, just search for the .gif occcurence and go from there.

Has this been changed in anyway for 3.0.3? I have tried this method exactly and doesn't seem to work. Thanks.

I do not understand what you mean. The method, to assign .GIF files as category/subcategory icons, has not changed since K 2.0: see Category icons .

That is what this topic is about: "How to create category and sub-category icons in K 3.0".

Is this what your question is about?

Hello,

I am creating new categories in riftmaniacos.net forum but I don't find the way to add new icons or change existing ones.
I copy an existing sub-category to create a new one just below with the same configuration and so far so good, but how do I link a new icon to this categrory? Where can I find this configuration tab?

Thank you
