Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

This category is for discussing issues with the K 3.0 Blue Eagle template.

As general background, My Joomla site template makes a mess of Kunena .

We do not answer questions about other templates for Kunena here.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Merged "Invisible text" - text font colour is the same as background colour

Hello,

Can-you put here your Kunena configuration report settings ?

What kind of change do you made in the template ?

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

It really does not matter which version of Kunena we may be discussing, I gave the answer earlier in this topic in msg #5 above. When people write "I designed my own Joomla template but I am not sure which file I should modify to solve my 'invisible text' problem" I wonder what people expect someone else to do for them?

Luiaard: please read what I wrote in msg #5. The answers to your questions are there.

Hi guys....I don't know if anyone can help me?

I am currently using Kunena 3.0.3....the problem I have is the appearance of my forum is the same as the dark template design, and the text for "New Posts" is unreadable in the message box. There is black text on a black background....can I alter this to a white message box/

Thanks.....

Hi,

I think, there are some conflicts about CSS between your Kunena template and Joomla template. You try to use the Firebug add-on find that conflicts. If your site lived, please post the url link here.

Regards,

- Please provide your site url if it has been lived.
- Please share tip if it worked fine with you.
- Don't be shy about using the "Thanks" button below if you found my comment helpful :)

Hi There,

I have the same issues but the only difference is that my text is white on a white background.

Hi my website background colour is #502b4.
When I loaded up Kunena I noted that all the background colours were white and the text was also white.
I have made changes to the template.ccc at the below address
/public_html/templates/siteground-j16-21/css
However when I change the line 11 (or 6 depending on how you open the file) from color:#FFF; to color:#FF; and then saving.
This changed the forum text from white to black which we good, but it also changed all of my general text to the site from white to black on a background colour of #502b4 so I could not see the general text in the main site.
I tried to add the suggested text to the end of the template.css file but nothing happened. I also tried to add text
#Kunena .kreply-form .inputbox {
color: ##FFFFFF;
and
Kunena .body{
color:#FF;{
but that did not work either!

Any suggestions
i have also attached a copy of the screen shot showing hidden text and.

Please see my configuration report.
