Hello,

Kunena is using Mootools and it will be a hard work to convert bbcode function to use jQuery.

Hello,

I'm also thinking to disable mootools on my homepage.
Kunena is the only component that I use that already need Mootools.

Could you tell me where mootools is used in frontend or how can I search for it in the files with a text editor? At the moment I see that only the editor isn't working anymore without it.

Thanks for help.

Greetings, Roland

I think that the information in msg #1 of Before you post your question, read this first will help you understand what will not work if you disable Mootools. I hope this helps.

Mootools is used in many places in Kunena :
  • Polls
  • Autocompleter in search when you start filling user field
  • For attachments upload
  • For handle some bbcodes function: spoiler, preview
  • For select all boxes in some view: recent discussions, and in profile tabs
