Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Merged JomSocial 2.6 and Kunena 1.7.2 integration

Yes, this could be the reason. Check category access and verify that you have either access level = registered or group = registered in there. If one of them isn't working, try another.

Category access is set correctly for registered users. So that's not the problem. At the moment JS activity stream is showing zero kunena posts

I was just trying to suggest that there might be a bug on one of the combinations (J1.5/2.5, access levels/user groups). Try if changing access level to user group helps.

i can confirm that there must a bug on the combnation with level groups: infact if changing to usergroup posts are showing correctly in jomsocial stream.

should we be posting to js support? or it's about kunena support? thank you.

Actually it's both. It's really hard to fit permissions together where Joomla 2.5 has fine tuned access levels and Jomsocial only: all, registered, friends and private. In Joomla 2.5 I find no general way to bind any of the access levels into any of the groups.

Well I've tried lots of things but I can't get my Kunena posts showing on the Jomsocial activity stream.

Kunena: 1.7.2 | 2012-01-31
Joomla: 2.5
Jomsocial: 2.6.1

The Kunena forum is set for registered users only as is the Kunena forum.

I've set Jomsocial to all of the settings in the KUNENA > CONFIGURATION > INTEGRATION

Is there something obvious I've missed?
