Kunena 7.0.4 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised user contributions, (templates, modules, plugins and hacks) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.
The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural changes that occurred in K 1.7, many of the ideas in these topics will not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

@aaron, what other mods are you using with kunena? have you tried this on a test site with a clean install of joomla and kunena without any modifications installed, using the default joomla template and default_ex template for kunena?
If you have not yet done this then please try it...
I have an extremely modified kunena 1.5.4 with a completely custom template, jom social and a over 30 components install on Joomla 1.5.12 and this hack just simply works. although in my case I had to manually add the the hack code to my source files due to prior mods and hacks, it does work 100% without any errors!

How come in topics with polls, topics/posts are presented in descending order as opposed to the default ascending for all topics?

Thanks for this!
Good that you made comments everywhere you inserted hacks in the files - so I could easily patch my prehacked Kunena. Works like a charme!

Is there a way to make the results show up at the top after a person has voted in the poll rather than the poll still showing.
By the way thank you very much for this hack. It is awesome.

Very nice, thank you for this, just added it to our forum.
Two questions.
Is it possible to have the poll view default to results if someone viewing has already voted?
Is there any way to add config options so polls can be limited to specific board categories? Ie - in previous forum script we had a category called "polls"
