Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised user contributions, (templates, modules, plugins and hacks) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural changes that occurred in K 1.7, many of the ideas in these topics will not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Forgetting about a third-party template, if your site behaves differently from this site, my answer is no, I don't know why that is the case. If we knew where the site was then, at least, we would know what we're looking at in terms of what CSS fiddles might be involved. However, if you're asking us to provide you free help to correct errors in the Aphotic II template then my original answer is still the same: that's something you need to discuss with the developer of that template.

Again, leaving the matter of unsupported Kunena templates aside for the time being, 99% of problems, questions, issues, etc., reported in these forums have nothing to do with Kunena at all. Please refer to My Joomla site template makes a mess of Kunena . There is no need to justify how we moderate this forum. We have answered your question to the best ability we have been able to do with the information you gave us at the time.

Einy wrote: EDIT: And for the record. My second attempt at posting in the K 1.6 and K 1.7 Templates and Design area was missing the template information that my first post had. You just deleted it with out reading it!

You are assuming facts not in evidence. I did read your second attempt to ask, in essence, the same question - I've merged and restored the message here - and you are wasting time debating assumed facts not in evidence instead of trying to fix your problems.

Amazing.

So, you don't see the profile box tabs, at the top of this page? Why do you need a URL?

Index | Recent Topcs | New Topic | No Replies | My Topics | Profile | FAQ's | Search

Again...[We] are talking about the DEFAULT Blue Eagle template here. For all intent and purposes my site looks identical to this one.

So...How do you add spacing/padding in between the tabs at the top of the profile box?

And I beg to differ about you reading my second attempt at posting my original thread. If there was no mention of ANY template in that thread, then why would it have been deleted and/or moved? Honestly, I don't really care about your motives in moderating this board. What I do care about is getting an answer to my question, without a lecture...

Sorry for my ever eroding tone. You're making a simple question very difficult to get answered.

To be honest, template modifications are a bit outside the purview of this support forum. Some of the forum users might be able to offer up some advice, but that's up to them.

The people who volunteer their time to help in this forum already spend a lot of time helping users with the built-in functionality. That's one of the side-effects of not having any paid support options for Kunena. When we start dealing with customizations, there's an inevitable domino effect where people need to deal unintended consequences of those modification, and the cycle never ends. Meanwhile, we end up not having time to help those people who are just using Kunena as it was intended.

What you're asking about here is custom CSS changes. Your best bet to figure out what needs to be modified is to install something like FireBug (a Firefox extension) and use that to see how the element you want to modify is styled. Then you can use that information to override the style.
