Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised user contributions, (templates, modules, plugins and hacks) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural changes that occurred in K 1.7, many of the ideas in these topics will not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Question Aphotic II template: spacing the profile box tabs

I'm wondering what CSS needs modified to add some padding between the tabs (index, profile, help, etc) at the top of the profile box?

They're so close together it's difficult to tell them apart.

I'm using Kunena 1.7.1 with the Aphotic II template.

Thanks in advance! ;)

Uhmmm...Okay.

Thanks for moving this thread to a location that I almost was unable to find. There is a thing as being too helpful. And honestly, you could have probably answered my question in the same amount of time as it took you to move my thread, re-name it and post about it...<sigh>

Perhaps what you could have done was, answer my question as if it was regarding the default template, for starters. I'm sure the differences between the default template .css and the Aphotic II template are minor when it comes this situation.

I'm sorry, Einy, if we were not helpful in the way that you expected. We're not here to debate with you what you think about the differences between the Aphotic II template and the Blue Eagle template. The fact of the matter is that this is a forum for people to help themselves to information. Our job (as far as moderating the K 1.6 and K 1.7 Templates and Design category is concerned, is to make sure that we keep topics focused on problems, questions, etc., that people have with the endorsed (and therefore supported) template(s) created by the Kunena project. The only template created by the Kunena project is the Blue Eagle template. We are more than happy to answer questions about that template. Questions about other templates should be directed to the author(s) of those templates.

If you have a question about the CSS that may involve the Blue Eagle template, and you cannot figure out what CSS is involved, and you would like to tell us where this problem is (namely the URL) we may be able to spend some time answering your question.

I don't know anything about the Aphotic II template, sorry, and neither to most of members of the Kunena project team or the majority of the members of the Kunena community. It is for that reason, and that reason alone, that his topic has been moved here and your repeated attempt to ask the question in the K 1.6 and K 1.7 Templates and Design category was unsuccessful. I hope that explains the situation better.

So...Forget about a third-party template.

Are you unable to tell me what .css to modify to add spacing/padding to the default templates profile box tabs?

I'm not here to debate, those are your words. I'm here seeking answers, and you're making a seemingly simple question very frustrating for a new user to this board.

EDIT: And for the record. My second attempt at posting in the K 1.6 and K 1.7 Templates and Design area was missing the template information that my first post had. You just deleted it with out reading it!
