While not disputing your choice to use a third-party Kunena template that has not been proven to work with K 1.6.4, nor for that matter your choice to have "legacy mode" enabled (although there are no compelling reasons to do that), these may be factors involved with your current problem.

There is an issue involving your Kunena menu that you may want to investigate. This is one of those "let's-see-what-happens-when-you-use-a-default-Kunena-menu-questions" that has been discussed many times before in this forum. I would suggest that you go back to basics and implement a "basic" Kunena menu (details for how to do that are contained on the FAQ page referenced by the menu tab of the same name that appears on the top of this page.

Although I have not encountered the problem myself, using CB 1.4, and I don't know whether Joomlapolis has a solution in your case, either, this may be a dormant problem area in Kunena that needs to be addressed. In the meantime, would you be prepared to consider the ideas that I have mentioned here as a way of starting a way to solve the problem?

Underlying all of these things, there may be issues involving Joomla 1.5.23, too. I mentioned one of them in sh404SEF causes site login to malfunction . Just something else for you to consider.

Ok. thanks for your help. I will give your recommendations a try. At least for now I found a work around..using Joomla in the integration...that seems to work fine. However, I will try the things you recommended and see what happens.
