Question Login with CB username not working

If I login with CB then go to the forum, it shows me logged in at top.
However, if I log out, and go to the forum page, and try to login from the forum, it won't login.

Yes, I have Integration set to "community builder" and I have also synched users.

The causes of your problem could be in several places:

(1) How your users login to your site with CB. What version of mod_cblogin you are using and also what version of com_comprofiler you are using.

(2) What version of Kunena you are using

(3) What are your Kunena configuration settings and your Community Builder configuration settings.

(4) What version of Joomla you are using.

(5) What Joomla security you have placed on your Joomla menu items.

We may learn a little more about your situation if you do what others have done when they post their questions here, and submit your K 1.6 configuration report ... assuming, of course, that you are using K 1.6.x

According to Kyle this feature works just fine (tested few minutes ago) and could be a misconfiguration either in CB or in Kunena. Have you checked that *login* integration inside Kunena is really set to be Community Builder?

What happens if you try to login from Kunena? Does it reload? Where it ends to? What happens? Have you tried it with debug mode turned on and maximum error reporting? Are there any errors?

May work fine on his install but does not on mine. I fixed it but what I found was that I cannot set integration to kunena or CB. I had to set to Joomla then it works fine. If not, users can login using CB module but NOT kunena login. Set as Joomla, they can use either.

We've seen a similar problem 500 Error in Forum Configuration and forum although, in that case, the problem was further complicated because of an abortive attempt (at one stage) to migrate from J! 1.5 to J! 1.6 and a number of useless J! 1.6 tables were added to the database.

We may be able to help more if we knew more about your circumstances (as I asked you in msg #2 of this topic).
