Right quick update..
Im testing this upgrade in test environment at the minute. It looks as if the live version of the site pulls avatars in from community builder. But on my test environment when I try to select CB to handle avatars it's blanked out!? Is this the problem?
Thanks again.

We can all speculate about the problems and issues that you seem to be having but we don't have any decent facts to work with.
Can we see you K 1.6 configuration report, please.

Problem solved! :woohoo:
An older version of CB was installed. Once upgraded CB, Kunena avatars were pulled instantly in.
Thank you for your help with this. It's very much appreciated.
Have a good day.

I was thinking that ... but because you had not provided us any facts, there was no way of knowing. Topic moved to the Community Builder category - hope it helps someone else - even though the
technical requirements
and the
release notes
clearly state that you should make sure you are using the latest versions of software.
