Question [Merged topic] J 1.7 + CB 1.4 + K 1.6.5

Ok, I tried to install 1.4 then, altho, they skipped 1.5 and 1.6 and made a 1.7 version:

I tried to install 1.4 on Joomla!1.7, because sometimes modules and plugins are capable. But seems in later description reading it wasn't. So it practicly didn't install at all. Seems it did leave some files in my server. Maybe that's causing it...let me see.

EDIT
It did leave a folder called 'com_comprofiler' in my components directory, but it doesn't show in the Components list or menu in Joomla!1.7 . Let me try renaming the file which is causing the eror, or else I'll delete the whole folder of community builder and re-install kunena.

EDIT AGAIN

Re-installed with the community builder folder removed, still same error. Kunena assumes that CB is installed on my server, but as previously said, it didn't, just some files of it got installed. In the error message you see it's saying something about plugin_foundation.php, but that file was never on my server due to false installation. Maybe I'll wait till 1 August and try to install CB1.7 .Maybe that will overwrite it all and it will get it's functionality back up.

I tried to install Community Builder (1.4) onto a Kunena 1.6.5 forum, the installation failed but now the forums don't work (I get a blank page) and I get the following error if I try to use the Forum Configuration or User Menu from within Joomla:

I have tried to remove CB but it doesn't appear in the Modules, Plugins or anywhere else I can see.

The website could be deleted and re-installed from scratch as its a re-boot of my old website, but I would prefer to see if its can be fixed another way, so if anyone has any ideas could you please help me out.

Community Builder 1.4 is not working on Joomla 1.7.

Do you think that will fix the errors if I install the updated version?

I had installed CB 1.4 too and I had to uninstall it (you're right, it's defenitively not designed for Joomla 1.7), but the folder was still there. I deleted it, but I still got the error message (and I deleted all the comprofiler tables too). Then I completely uninstalled Kunena, reinstalled it, but I still had the problem. So I decided to install a fresh version of Joomla 1.7., and now I don't have the problem...
