Kunena 7.0.3 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.3 [K 7.0.3] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Still have same error - cannot open the Kunena update site.

Update: Could not open update site #218 "Kunena 6.3 Update Site", URL: https://update.kunena.org/6.3/list.xml
 
I've searched through the database and find the update URL string in the "update_sites" table.
Should I change this to a different URL? Or delete this row? Or something else to fix the error?

Update:
I've just updated to Kunena 6.3.5 and now the problem appears to be worse.
Now I get two errors instead of one.

When Joomla is searching for the Kunena updates, the Joomla "check for updates" hangs until it determines the above Kunena sites are not available. So update checks now take a really long time.
How do I go about fixing this problem?

Don't know why the 6.1 suddenly appears, but you should be able to delete it through system update sites.
Update site for K 6.3.5 can be reached: update.kunena.org/6.3/list.xml
So maybe a firewall is blocking access?

It seems unlikely that a firewall is blocking access since all the other .xml update sites work just fine.

 

I noticed that Joomla did not notice the latest Kunena version was available for update and I had to go to the kunena.org site and download it manually.

SO I just deleted the Kunena update sites from the Joomla Updates Sites Manager, and then re-installed Kunena 6.3.5.

After that, I still get the same error message (though the update site ID number has incremented after the delete / reinstall)

That's not true. All update sites have different ip adresses.
Have you checked your server settings ?
