Kunena 6.4.8 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.4.8 [K 6.4.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x/5.3.x/5.4.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.4
Important note: Go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated. This is particularly necessary for major version jumps so that the table changes are adapted.

Solved Joomla cannot find Kunena Update Site

Hello,
I have just made a fresh install of Joomla 5.1.2 and Kunena 6.3.3 and have an error message showing on the Joomla Extensions Update page that says "Update: Could not open update site #49 "Kunena 6.3 Update Site", URL: update.kunena.org/6-3/list.xml ". Please see screenshot below.
How can I fix this problem?

Also, it looks like Joomla cannot find the Kunena premium templates site. I get the following messages in the Kunena Templates page.
and

Could not connect to Kunena server. Please try again later.

and if you go to administrator Update Sites
select everything and rebuild
and then clear website cache
is the problem then gone?

I see in your kunena report at the kunena template "crypsis" this should not be possible.
So check in administrator section Kunena Forum: Templates
Aurelia the circle and then click on the button default
And take a look at the administrator section at kunena- Dashboard
Kunena Forum: Tools > Diagnostics if you see any errors there?

I've just now manually upgraded to 6.3.4 (uploaded zip to Joomla install extensions dialog) and still have the same problems with update sites and with templates in Kunena (again, after rebuilding update sites).

That's really interesting. I would not have known that a newer version of Kunena had been released without this post. My 6.3.3 version was not checking the update site (error listed above) and not reporting there was an update available to 6.3.4.I also could not find the update by Joomla update extensions and when going to Kunena comp in backend I got this message..
success Database upgraded to version 6.3.3-DEV Kunena Version
Check Last Check: Today
Still say have this version
6.3.3
