Kunena 7.0.9 & Kunena 6.4.14 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.9 [K 7.0.9] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

500 internal error when installing 5.2.4 was created by RittysMachine
Error when installing 5.2.4 onto Joomla 3.9.25, using Crypsis as the template.  Any assistance would be helpful.
I get this error when launching

Fatal Error: Method ComponentKunenaControllerWidgetWhoisonlineDisplay::__toString() must not throw an exception, caught Error: Call to undefined method CFactory::getConfig() in components/com_kunena/template/crypsis/pages/category/list/default.php on line 0

When turning Whoisonline to off (confirguation extra, Show Who is Online=no)
I no longer get the internal error but now get this error


Rendering Error in layout Category/Index: Call to undefined method CFactory::getConfig() in /home/crcci/public_html/components/com_kunena/template/crypsis/layouts/category/index/default.php on line 216

line 216 is         $avatar = $this->config->avataroncat ? $author

Layout was rendered in /home/crcci/public_html/components/com_kunena/template/crypsis/pages/category/list/default.php on line 21

Hello,

The error is related to an integration plugin, do-you have enable Jomsocial or easysocial integration plugin into Kunena ?

With your advice I disabled JomSocial Integration.  That made the forum display.  I can read discussions.

Now the avatar of the members no longer display.

I'am not able to reproduce your issue, with joomsocial intregration plugin enabled, i have not issue

Can-you put here please your Kunena report configuration settings ?
