Hi Sentiogr,

I think, you should post your website url to here.

- Please provide your site url if it has been lived.
- Please share tip if it worked fine with you.
- Don't be shy about using the "Thanks" button below if you found my comment helpful :)

I can see that.. I'm sorry, your website is so outdated, nothing can work anymore. Support for Kunena 4.0 ended a few years ago and you won't be able to get it to work with PHP version 7.3. You will have to decide to migrate your website and Kunena to the latest version.

  1. If your provider no longer provides the outdated PHP 5.3.x or PHP 5.4.x, you need a local server installation with one of these PHP versions and a clone of your website.
  2. Then you have to install Kunena 4.0.12 as an intermediate step (only then you can migrate to Kunena 5.0.x .)
  3. When this is done and everything works, you need a server with at least PHP 7.4.1.
  4. On this server you need a clone of your website with the Kunena 5.0.x installation.
  5. Upgrade Joomla to 3.10 and Kunena to 5.2.
  6. Then check everything again.
Important: Make a complete backup after each step and an extra backup of all Kunena tables to be able to access them at any time.

How to upgrade to Joomla 4.2 and Kunena 6.0 is described here: docs.kunena.org/en/basics/upgrade/upgrade-k6-0
Sorry if it's so much, but the longer you wait to upgrade/migrate, the more difficult it is.
