Solved Category icons (fontawesome) not displaying in Chrome

5 years 11 months ago #1 by Webguy99

I've setup various category icons and set it to use Fontawesome. Works fine in Firefox but get tiny dots in Chrome.
It's the same symptoms as an old archived post ( www.kunena.org/forum/k-3-0-general-quest...-topic-icons?start=0 ), I tried the CSS fix from that post but it didn't work for me.
Please see attached screenshots.

Sorry to chase but does anyone please have any ideas re this issue? Known bug? Is there a workaround I can try?

I managed to resolve this myself. The standard Kunena CSS for the table icon column is set to 1% which for some reason in Chrome means it squashes the icon to a little dot.

I added the following CSS to my custom CSS file;
#kunena.layout td.kcol-category-icon {width:10%;text-align:center;}

The category icons are now displaying fine in Chrome. You may want to change the default Kunena CSS with this fix?

Anyway, I thought I'd update the post in case anyone else has the problem.
