Kunena 6.2.5 & module Kunena Latest 6.0.7 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.5 [K 6.2.5] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.3.x/4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

Hello everyone,

my english is not good and I dont want to do a big mistake : whistle : ,

can you tell me the steps to transfer data from a forum with lots of categories and topics and pictures , all on a kunena 2.0.4 to 4.0.3 kunena a completely blank ?

ah yes there are two distinct sites ( old and new) and I use jomsocial on two (in case it would be important for your reply ... )

You need all *_kunena tables, and *_users* tables

ok 810 thx for your answer ;)

but how about the photos posted on the "old" forum ? is it possible to get them in the news one or the folders are not the same ??

no problem with Jomsocial, and users ID from joomla ?

folders are the same.

Just copy the files, copy the database tables. Then install the lasted kunena version

Could you show me what are the files I have to copy from my old FTP ?

Maybe only all the folder www/components/com_kunena ?

I agree that it was not very helpful for someone to say "just copy the files" without explaining which files you need to copy.

We must have answered this question dozens of times about how to move a Kunena forum from one site to another. The answer is in the sticky topic in the Miscellaneous, off-topic and general Joomla category: How to move, copy or merge my old Kunena forums from one site to another .

There is no tool or product developed by the developers of Kunena which is why people will not find the answers looking in the K 4.0 General Questions category. Everything you need to know is in the topic How to move, copy or merge my old Kunena forums from one site to another . ;)
