Kunena 7.1.0 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.1.0 [K 7.1.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x./6.2.x This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 / K7.0 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.1
Just a reminder: K6.4.16 receives only securities fixes until end of 2026, so it's advised for users to upgrade to K7.1.

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

I tried it... but new problems appear

I deleted my mainmenu and empty the trash bin.

I setup the Kunena Menu main item as homepage

I setup the Kunena Menu as the menu in the module for the position menu

Now, all the kunena menu subitems add /categories to all the URLs, for example recent topics points to
mysite.com/cruise-forums/categories/forum/recent

Very strange that /categories in the URL

Attached is my Kunena menu screenshot

Remove all menu-items in

And then delete those menu's.
Your menu structure then should look like this (I have an English version, but that is the only difference).

Ok, I removed everything: othermenu, menupie and categorias (old joomla content categories)

I even unpublish the menu module.

Now I have just the Kunena menu, but still have that extra /categories in the URLs
