Kunena 7.0.3 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.3 [K 7.0.3] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

You still have a Kunena menu item in the main menu (see images). Either remove it or change it to a menu item alias (System Links -> Menu item Alias).

@rich: Kunena menu was ok when I looked at live site. But it seems that @OldCharlie restored an old backup because now the menu has disappeared again on the live site.

@Pinkeltje I've noticed that the menu item “Community Forum” has suddenly appeared, although it shouldn't be there.
@OldCharlie If you make changes and cannot recognize this immediately, you should empty the Joomla and browser cache.
I can't see any incorrect counting.

I had to use a backup and another server to rebuild my site. So things will look different now. I am struggling with how to create the Kunena Menu. I want a solid menu so things don't get messed up somehow. So what I am proposing is using a menu module for the Kunena menu. This I have done and wondering if this will be ok or will I run into a road block down the road? Here is my current video 2-26-2025 billcory-pictures.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws...na-module-or-not.mp4

Why are 1 and 2 folders and 3 and 4 subjects? I don't understand why they are separated out that way. Why is the "Questions and Concerns about dust abatement only shown in the folder Dust abatement on Private Homeowners Road not a subject like chipper days and Brush and Invasive weeds....?

Folders 1 and 2 are subcategories of the Lindbergh LLHOA Road category. These are displayed as folders. And the two topics 3 and 4 were created in the parent category. That's right, because when you open the Lindbergh LLHOA Road category, you should only see topics that were created for this category. These are topics 3 and 4.

It is ok if you add a module to the Kunena menu. It seems that everything is correct now (I couldn't see everything in the video), but if you are not sure, then create a Configuration Report then we can see if the Kunena menus are ok.
