Kunena 7.0.2 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.2 [K 7.0.2] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.3.x/5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Here is my current sandbox as of 2/23/2025 which is subject to change as time goes on.  The sandbox site is lastchance.freesite.host
Go to the Community forum which is a Kunena add on to Joomla.  You'll see that the Animal etiquette is not organized as you would expect.   I  guess I just don't understand how to organize the topics.   Wish I was better at this....I'm a newbie

Have you tried to recount statistics under Tools?

I did the Recount Statistics along with some more organizing. Actully too much organizing and now it seems to be all messed up! I believe I have the categories and sections arranged properly and wonder if by deleting and recreating some sections that I messed up the database? First of all, you don't have a Kunena menu, which can cause this problem. So read this carefully.and follow the steps.
In the index page you see only 1 topic in the category animals. So that seems to be ok.
Another tip: start with css changes when everything works well. I am a bit blinded by all the colours.

I've decided to start from scratch and create a new Kunena Menu. I'm still not sure how the Kunena Menu appears in my Joomla site? Can it just be a module by itself instead of trying to make it part of the Main Menu.
I don't know what I'm doing so just trying to do it the best I can, but feel lost when creating the menu for my fourm or can I call it community forum? Lets's start with the basics. How do I create the menu for the Kunena? Here is my video: billcory-pictures.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws...uss/menuORModule.mp4

Your menu is ok now. You can give the menu-item Forum in your main menu any title you want.
But still beats me why all those topics are showing under animal etiquette.
