Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

The problem is with uploading images, not with the menus, they were working fine.

I had read that the problem exists when uploading images. However, incorrectly created menu items repeatedly lead to errors. According to the configuration report, the incorrectly created menu item Create new topic is still in the main menu.
What happens if you go to a category and try to create a new topic with an image using the button?

Firstly, thanks for your help with this.

OK.
I deleted the forum links on the main Joomla menus.
I deleted both the English and Spanish forum menus.
I emptied the trash from all menus.
In the tools section I recreated the default Kunena menu.
In the English Joomla menu I created an alias, and linked it to the Kunena menu item Forum.
Now I only get a list of recent topics, there is no Forum menu!

I'm sorry, but you should delete the menu item Create New Topic in the main menu. You have deleted everything else and exactly this one menu item that should be gone, I see again in the configuration report and it is not an alias. You can find the menu type Alias under System Links -> Menu Item Alias.

Actually, all categories, regardless of language, should now be displayed under the newly created menu items.

I have also now deleted the "New Topic" item from the Kunena menu
