I have now directly changed the untranslated lines in the #_menu , which I tried to avoid all the way because it is not the royal way. My conclusion is that in the assembly of the Kunena package the dutch translationfile is not properly included, and by default the English standard is read in. May be a typo in the name to be included??

it's strange but with a localtest in wamp I noticed the following
which may help you troubleshoot the problem
I have installed the latest joomla version 4.3.3 and Dutch language package nl-NL_joomla_lang_full_4.3.3v1.zip
and then pkg_kunena_v6.1.3-DEV_2023-07-16.zip and
pkg_kunena_languages_v6.1.3-DEV_2023-07-16.zip
at first the administrator kunena main menu turned out to be english
while site language had to be Dutch.
When using kunena menu tools to rebuild the menu, the result is still nothing.
But when I enabled the language plugins System - Language Code and System - Language Filter ,
I also have to switch on the Dutch language in the administrator section at Languages: Contents
and then again with kunena menu tools rebuild the menu changed the kunena administrator main menu to nerderlands so also the kunena menu on the front
I can then disable the plug-ins and nothing will change.
ps
i also tried in Xampp server local on pc and it also seems to work there and it is possible to enable it at the administrator side. Languages: Content is the most important after rebuilding with kunena menu tools to rebuild the menu he also changed this text to Dutch
And on another domain test site I tried with Kunena Version 6.1.2 2023-07-08 Which also hold kunena menu in english. there I first removed the kunena menu from the main menu and trash emptied afterwards with Kunena: Tools kunenam Menu restored and yes everything neatly in Dutch

The easiest way to change the menu language is:
1. set the backend language to the desired language.
2. go to /administrator/components/com_kunena/language/and rename the en-GB folder.
3. Kunena Tools -> restore kunena menu
4. important! rename the folder back to en-GB
Or other possibility:
Go to the Kunena menu and rename the menu items individually.

Seems to me a good way to avoid all kind of errors. Is it too dificult to generate LESS code in order to avoid showing up unwanted items in the SCeditor?

I noticed that private messages cannot be read by normal registered users, so I added the same message as confidential text to your previous post.

Rich,
like I said before; all lines have been translated and zero to be translated.
I do not see on a sinle line where the possibility is to tick 'reviewed'or 'approved'.
After looking into the team for translating into Dutch I am not listed, neither as translator nor as reviewer.
