Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

I found some old posts (2019 & 2018) about issues accessing PDF's attached in posts and from what I could tell it was a known issue. Is this still the case?   

Along with this message, when I click the "Download PDF" link it directs to a 403 Forbidden page

I am using Kunen 5.28 with Joomla 3.10.6

I found some old posts (2019 & 2018) 
 
You use the configuration setting Protect Attachments = Yes? There was a bug at that time which broke PDFs. Probably it is related to that. Unfortunately, if the PDF is already damaged, you can't repair it.
