This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Question How to delete a top level category / section?

I made a top level category, and then it would not show anywhere in the front or back end.

I could not see it to move it or to delete it. Finally, I deleted it out of the database. Is there a better way to do this?

Then, I recreated the same category as a subcategory to the Main Forum. But, it would not create until I chose a different alias than the first time.

Thank you.

This might help. (solved) Phantom Kunena Category blocks Create & Save New Category

Regarding the front end, Top Level Categories are also called Sections. They should show on the front end as a section title in the template, but you cannot post to them. (For example: Main Forum) You have to create subcategories, and then you can post to the subcategories.
