The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena Blue Eagle 1.5.2 which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for Kunena 5.1. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 1.5.1 and issues discovered during the development stages of K 1.5.2.

× Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Question Problem with template override (FAQ wrong?)

Hello,

Since I heavily modded my kunema template jf_simone I wanted to move the templates to my joomla-template "Overview" (custom name).

Therefor, I followed those instructions:
www.kunena.org/docs/en/faq/template-overrides

As an example:
Kunena Template:
/webroot/components/com_kunena/template/jf_simone/layouts/category/index/default.php

Copy in Joomla-Template "Overview":
/webroot/templates/Overview/html/com_kunena/layouts/category/index/default.php

But actually, the forum is empty if I do so, which means that the path for the new templates is correct, but for some reason they're not shown. What's the problem?

In another https://www.kunena.org/forum/154-Miscellaneous-off-topic-and-general-Joomla/97749-kunena-not-showing-in-custom-joomla-templatevery, very old thread , I found the info that I've to add this here:
<jdoc:include type="component" />
to the template, but I dont know where or if this is even up to date.

Thanks for your help :)

The FAQ is ok, I've tested it. Maybe you should ask your template author why the override not work.
