If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Question Problem with template override (FAQ wrong?)

6 years 8 months ago - 6 years 8 months ago #1 by Razen

Since I heavily modded my kunema template jf_simone I wanted to move the templates to my joomla-template "Overview" (custom name).

Therefor, I followed those instructions:

As an example:
Kunena Template:

Copy in Joomla-Template "Overview":

But actually, the forum is empty if I do so, which means that the path for the new templates is correct, but for some reason they're not shown. What's the problem?

In another www.kunena.org/forum/154-Miscellaneous-o...-joomla-templatevery , very old thread , I found the info that I've to add this here:
<jdoc:include type="component" />
to the template, but I dont know where or if this is even up to date.

Thanks for your help :)

The FAQ is ok, I've tested it. Maybe you should ask your template author why the override not work.
