Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics must relate to a currently supported version of Kunena. If you are unsure what is the current supported version of Kunena, please go to the download page.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

I have try to change to the recommended current php version 5.4. But the problem persists. The indexing still hangs and I get this error:
"deprecated JDatabase::getErrorNum() is deprecated, use exception handling instead."

Shall there be an Forum folder in the site root after one have installed Kunena? I did have one but I think it had been created earlier so I deleted this empty folder.

There is not a folder named "forum". On the contrary, it could be a conflict with kunena.

The indexing still hangs and I get this error:
"deprecated JDatabase::getErrorNum() is deprecated, use exception handling instead."

I've thoroughly tested today and can confirm the stagnation. But not the error message. If you close the window should be all kunena messages listed. Go to "Extensions -> Manage -> Database" and check if its ok.

Glad you also found the stagnation. If I close the window some of the kunena messages are listed but they are not searchable in the front-end. Hope to see a fix on this.

Is the official Kunena site using the regular search or the smart search or something else?

I think, you have a other problem. The search in the frontend has nothing to do with the smart search in the backend.

Is the official Kunena site using the regular search or the smart search or something else?

If you install Kunena you get the menu item Search. With this menu item you find only Topics or Messages from Kunena. This menu item works without extra settings.
