-UPDATED FURTHER DOWN (POST #6)-

Hi,

I'm having a strange problem that I can't work out how to fix.

Whenever someone puts an image in their thread, using the img tag, it causes a 'No data received' error in Google Chrome when you try to view it. I'm can't remember the error in other browsers but it is basically the same.

It doesn't even let you get into the forum category.
Has anyone else had this? I've searched but couldn't see anything!

Hello,

Do you have tried with an another browser ? Do you have tried with default Kunena and Joomla template ?

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Yep, it's been tested with other browsers (IE and Firefox) and it's also been tested with default templates but still same error.

We are currently having other problems at the moment (hence the delay in responding) so we are doing a fresh install and hopefully it will fix the Kunena issue as well.

I'll let you know how it goes!

OK, we've reinstalled the site but still getting the error.

In Google Chrome it shows as "Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data."

And in IE it just shows the standard "this page cannot be loaded" page.

Not sure what is causing it. It happens with both the default template and a custom one.

Sorry for triple posting!

Think I have found the error... it's something to do with the Kunena menu but I'm not sure what.

After another reinstall, (completely wiping the database and any file related to Kunena)the error seemed to go away for images but instead it presented itself when I clicked on the Home/Index breadcrumb. I changed the Kunena 'Forum' menu item type to 'Homepage>Forum' and it fixed the issue when clicking the breadcrumb however it caused the error to appear on the image again!

I have no idea where to go from here... is it possible for someone to take a look?

Kunena uses Kunena Menu by default and in "home menu" (or the one marked by star/flag) there's an alias, which points into our menu. Using alias menu type (just like in that item) should fix your issues.
