Migrating Kunena 1.0 - 1.7 to Kunena 2.0.3 breaks your forum.

After migration all topics have access denied even for admins and the date is 42 years in the past.

This happens because of a small bug in recount statistics tool, which actually exists in all K2.0 versions but wasn't detected until a bug fix in Kunena 2.0.3 exposed it.

If you haven't yet installed Kunena 2.0.3, you can install any earlier version of Kunena 2.0 or to wait for Kunena 2.0.4 which is scheduled to be out soon.

If you have already installed Kunena 2.0.3, here are steps that will solve your issue:

1) Make a backup

2) Go to phpMyAdmin or similar tool and run the following SQL code from below (change both jos_ prefixes in the database field names to your own Joomla! database prefix):
Code:
UPDATE jos_kunena_topics AS tt INNER JOIN ( SELECT thread, MIN(hold) AS hold FROM jos_kunena_messages WHERE hold IN (0,1) GROUP BY thread ) AS c ON tt.id=c.thread SET tt.hold = c.hold WHERE tt.moved_id=0

3) Go to Kunena backend >> Forum Tools >> Recount Statistics and run the action without changing any parameters.
