Important Disappearing polls

I noticed that when an user edits his/her post in poll topic, the poll gets deleted. I think it's a bug, I hope it'll be fixed soon since it's pretty harmful because it allows users to destroy polls if they don't like the result.

Below is my settings so you can see if there's something that needs to changed in order to fix that(I've censored my E-mail address in order to avoid spam):

Here's a suggestion: create a topic in our Playground area (where you can create a poll) and then do whatever it is that people are doing at your website and see if you can reproduce the same conditions here. I would do this for you but, as you can probably see, I rather have my hands full at the moment.

I did that and managed to preproduce the same conditions here.

I have excactly the same problem! And I didn't realise that it's a bug or an issue.
One member of my forum, opened a poll. After some days the poll deleted. I thought that the user had made a mistake....
The only thing that I noticed is, when you put a date for the poll to close, after that date the poll dissappears....Or it's a bug?

I have no idea. I've rarely played with polls myself. :lol: It would be good for us to find out what bugs exist, or may exist, and the conditions needed to generate such things with polls. Please use this topic to report what you have discovered about "disappearing polls" and how you engineered the circumstances.

The development team will look into those matters for us.
